Red silicone sheet

APPLICATIONS

Through extrusion, compression molding, coating, and die-cutting processes, all types of extruded profiles, tubes, cords, gaskets, standard gaskets, and sheets are manufactured for applications in various industrial sectors, but are especially suitable for the pharmaceutical, food, chemical, and cosmetic industries, as well as for machinery manufacturers, filling machinery, and other industries.

GENERAL CHARACTERISTICS

Silicone is a rubber that possesses extraordinary stability at extreme temperatures and excellent flexibility at low temperatures. Silicone has excellent resistance to compression, sunlight, ozone, oxygen, and moisture. Due to its inert nature, it is widely used in medical, pharmaceutical, and food applications as it leaves no odor or taste. Silicones can be formulated to be electrically resistant, conductive, or flame retardant. Low temperatures do not cause rigidity or solidification. It is not attacked by the vast majority of oils and greases. It has good resistance to chemicals in general. Silicone rubbers are one of the best electrical insulators, and can be used from -40°C to +200°C.
