Characteristics

Semi-crystalline thermoplastic characterized by its low coefficient of friction and good wear resistance. POM offers good resistance to a wide range of chemicals, including many solvents. Because it absorbs virtually no water, it has greater dimensional stability than polyamides, is highly machined, and is easily polished. Its performance is similar to that of steel.

Applications:
