Characteristics:

As a high-molecular-weight polymer, virgin Teflon® (pure 100%) stands out among plastic materials for its unique characteristics. Being an inert material, Teflon® is also non-stick. This property makes it highly resistant to attack by a multitude of chemical products; for this reason, it is highly resistant to ozone, concentrated or diluted acids and bases, hydrocarbons, and organic solvents.
